Smallmouth Bass Trips
  
Try a day or two of your vacation with one of our guides, fly fishing some of our region's most scenic spots for smallmouth bass. Your guide will take you where the air is fresh and the fish are big and plentiful. More often than not we are fishing surface bugs on quiet water, in back bays where the bass like to hang in the shallows. Your guide will quietly row along the undeveloped shoreline, coaching you while you drop bass bugs close to the endless supply of stumps and boulders where big bass hide. The subtle take of a big bass inhaling your bug will leave you wondering where your fly went, then make your eyes pop when he leaps three feet in the air desperately trying to get rid of it. If that isn't enough, you'll enjoy a wonderful shore cookout and don't be surprised if you spot an eagle or a moose along the way.
Trip includes transportation from the fly shop, shore lunch, any gear, expert instruction and a wonderful day on the water.
The cost is $350 for one or two people.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm any trip.

Smallmouth Camp
Spend a couple of days living with the smallmouth. We'll set up the tent camp, bring all the food, do all the cooking, and put you on some of the best smallmouth fishing around. It's a wonderful way to spend a couple of your precious fishing days. The scenery is spectacular, the campfire food is superb, and the accommodations are quite cozy. Our tents are spacious with cots so no one sleeps on the cold ground.
You'll meet your guide at the fly shop the morning of the first day and head for the water for a full day of smallmouth fishing. Your guide will prepare a great evening meal you'll enjoy around the campfire and when you bed down for the night you'll drift off to sleep listening to the loon's cry and the water wash the shore. After breakfast the second day you'll enjoy another hard day of bugging for smallmouth and when the day is done you'll return to the fly shop and be on your way to your next adventure.
The trip includes transportation from the fly shop, all meals, camping gear, expert guiding and instruction. The cost is $250 per person per day, based on two people per guide.
